On 2 March, Asset | Econometrics and Asset | TOP-DOWN bundle their forces to organise a logistics symposium. The topic of the day will be the Cross Chain Control Center, which is a control center in which multiple supply chains are coordinated and managed. Via this way of cooperation costs can be reduced. Not only physical, but also financial and information flows are being managed. 4C should strengthen the position of logistics in the Netherlands. In 2007, a consortium of advanced companies was formed to create the first Control Center in the Netherlands, including among others DHL Exel and ING. Its goal is to set up a (best practice) organization with unique capabilities in order to control multiple supply chains.
